Position :Mental Health Residential Recovery Support Worker
The Role
The role of a Mental Health Support Worker in Wellcare Australia Supported Independent Living Services is to provide support to our participants with psycho-social and intellectual or physical disability. Participants who require assistance with complex behaviours in their daily routines including emotional and psychological support. Enhance the individual’s level of skill and confidence living in the community. Implement plans that provide meaningful activities of the customer’s choice, interest and ability.
About you
Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or relevant qualifications
Demonstrated experience/knowledge in working with people with mental health issues
Be an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and driven
Be reliable with good work ethics
Be patient and understanding, positively engage, interact and work with people who have complex needs
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mental health and the issues that are faced
Ability to apply sensitivity, empathy, cultural awareness and an open-minded approach to personal matters
Passionate about providing the best quality care for the client, using a person centred  and recovery oriented approach
Have a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with minor and complex mental health needs
Experience in building long lasting partnerships in the community while working in collaboration with other external services
Be comfortable working independently as well as an active team member
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
experience in working with diverse groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, refugee groups and LGBTIQ groups will be highly regarded
An understanding of and genuine commitment to social inclusion
Ability to ensure that the safety and wellbeing of customers are maintained
Computer literacy (Microsoft packages, word processing, email and internet)
Willing and able to provide support to a participant that enjoys significant physical activities including gardening, walks and bike ride.
Prerequisites:
Current National Police Clearance with 6 months or less currency or willingness to apply for and provide one prior to commencing employment;
Current WWVPC;
Current Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions;
Current Provide First Aid Certificate
What we will offer you:
Shifts: Security of on-going rostered shifts ( 24/ 7 and sleepover)
Position:Â this position requires minimum 12-month commitment
Work Type: Full time / part time / casual positions
Wages: $25 -$ 34 per hour (rate depending on qualifications & experience)

Position : Internal AuditorÂ
The Role

- Executing a range of internal audits and business process reviews
- Developing and performing test plans and producing draft reports
- Building internal relationships
- Liaising with clients, developing client relationships and identifying future opportunities
- Developing internal audit and risk management strategies and methodologies for clients
